GEORGE W. RAGSDALE

This is the story of George W. Ragsdale and how his combat experience effected his career and life after the war. George was assigned along the Viet Nam DMZ with the 2nd ARVN, Ben Hai, 1st Division as a counterbattery warrant officer and glorified forward observer (FO). This is not a happy story, it takes a look at the leadership issues, "fraggin" and effects of the political struggle taking place at home on America's actions in Viet Nam, etc. It paints a sad picture of operations failures, but forces one to face the realities of war.
