If looking

the eyes
of all
I encounter

Whether
thinking them
kindred
or
opposite

I see
there reflected
not how
they
see me

I see
only myself
reflected;
centered
there.

Taking time
looking
into
the eyes
of those I encounter

Deeper,
Knowing
self reflected
is theirs
and mine.
