FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

are we to partake of the fruit of the spirit
its promise of everlasting joy and prosperity?

or do we instead, consider an alternative
one which may yield greater understanding

the god of man is before us

drop a fukitol and consider the implications at a later date

do we partake of what fruit of what spirit?
it promises what it cannot deliver.

there is no alternative to none existence,
existence demands our understanding
I see no God before me

your last line being irrelevant

trying to apply the fruits of the spirit
reminders of what my God promises

pity parties full of mine divine attendance
existing and surviving in life’s hellish role
forgetting what He provides for all of mankind

get me some superglue to mend the hole
