TONY
Well they may be a Motley Crew
So take it from this New York Jew
Don’t ever think to go away
I don’t know what I’d do… Oy Veh
You give me hope… and stop my tears
We need you here for years and years
Though Col and I may disagree
on politics, he’s right… I see
he knows you a treasured friend
On someone who we all depend
So Tony, Congrats on your award
Much thanks for keeping me de-clawed
When things heat up you intervene
You read what’s written in between
And so to get this on the site
I will before I say good night
Remind you of that dread disease
Don’t let it bring you to your knees
and do not feel a smidge of guilt
it takes some time to get things built
So, know you are my Superman
Relax… just do just what you can
I’ll wait until you’ve fixed the rub
This won’t be on poets club
We celebrate your Number four
and hope you are around much more
to read, to write, or just to share
You win awards, because you care!
