Robin Amy Bass
FAYE
… And you are Grace
so together we are Amazing Grace
somehow you pick up the pace
help me now to close the rift
Major league – you catch my drift
Faye, you send a single rose
simple gesture but one knows
you are reading, writing too
you’re a rarity, it’s true
while I stumble over verse
I am tired… send a hearse
I can’t make this very deep
not until I get some sleep
While I doze, Please go find Mary
if she leaves, it could get scary:
Who will guard the cross and bridge,
tell that runner, from the ridge
it’s ok to pull a poem,
but this club is like a home
Amazing Grace and Honesty
Faye… tell Mary… she makes three.
Col I hope you understand
You’ve said yourself… you’re just a man
With great respect… I call you Mister
But, Faye… tell Mary… she’s my sister.
