BEING BOUNCED

After days and hours of being bounced
I say to all I won’t be trounced
I’m back despite – incredifail
I’ll figure out this darn e-mail

I’ll give it everything I’ve got
Lest my words should be forgot
My Yahoo will be resurrected
I do my best to stay connected

a little prose is soon to follow
But no advice – too hard to swallow
I pray I win my techno war
I bet no one is keeping score

If it ain’t the man – it’s the machine
Sometimes my life can feel real mean
And worth more than the written page
Shoot – Writing helps me disengage

from things and take a backward glance
Sometimes we need to change the dance
Incredifail – and overwrought
I think I’ve lost my train of thought
