JUNE 14
(Flag Day - USA)

My father was a snake
With the words "Don't tread on me"
My mother's background was white
With a large Liberty Tree

I have preceded our mighty forces
In each and every war
When they fought amongst each other
And upon many a distant shore

I bow to no one
I am arrogant, fearless and brave
Even those who revile me
Respect my power when I wave

My symbols the stars and stripes
My colors red, white and blue
I am known as Old Glory
Always faithful, always true
