CLOSED DOORS

The doors were shut, in my hut
My bride waited patiently outside
Our honeymoon would start real soon
But the doors were jammed with me inside

For nearly a day and in many a way
We eagerly waited to embrace
But those bloody doors stuck forever more
Made it impossible to even see her face

What can I do, to get to you?
I screamed at the top of my voice
She said to me, well, let me see
The window would be my choice

My heart it thumped, then quickly I jumped
But my eagerness made it worse
It was the emergency room for the groom
I wish I'd have opened the window first
