MY WIFE
I looked at the tag,
on the back of your blouse.
It says, “Made in Heaven”,
You bless this house.
There were no stars,
in last night’s skies.
I finally found them,
when I looked in your eyes.
The house is cold,
when you are away
laughter is muted,
it’s a dreary day.
Ah, my life’s light does light,
when I hear your smile.
My heart grows warm;
my love does grow all the while.
Yes, the tag says,
“Made in Heaven above”
The stars are in your eyes;
Thank you, my love
