PASSING OF LAST VIETNAM VETERAN REPORTED

Washington DC, Sept 13th, 2047… It is our sad duty to report death of the last Vietnam Veteran. With his family till the last, it’s reported he had quiet moments whenever he heard the sound of helicopters (a flying machine used back then, nowadays, just by hobbyists). It also reported that he was the last veteran to actually serve in country, although there continues to be three thousand special forces, one thousand LRRPs, six thousand snipers, nine hundred tunnel rats, and twenty thousand Purple Heart recipients, all claiming to have served in-country. It is believed a few actually did serve in the armed services, but even fewer out of the country: Germany, Korea, etc. VA has been quoted a saying they will really miss the Nam Vets, as they did all they could for them since they were treated so poorly upon their return stateside. Jane Fonda, the acclaimed actress, stated she shall miss them as she has always stood by their side, through thick and thin.
