HOW EMPTY IS A DREAM?
We are all there;
Danny, Jake, Father Ferg, Jeff, Pete, Bob, Gary, Walt, and me.
Smiling and at peace with the world are we.
No Cong, no heat, no mud, no jungle just a cool afternoon day.
Each of us is in our own way enjoying the love we dare not say.
Jokes from “Father Ferg” and Pete
Fun poked at young Danny; he takes it in fun, and a nicer boy you wouldn’t meet.
A calm, peaceful day of birds and fluffy clouds
Just us there, no time for crowds.
More than friendship, more than most will ever find
For today we think not of all those left behind
Not a gun, nor knife can be seen
Then I awaken, and find they are all dead and it has been an “Empty Dream”
