THE CYNICAL POET

I am a cynic, I must confess, about my Liberal Government’s Mess
Corruption, and ad-scams, payments under the table
Canadian Government lack of leadership is very unstable
The PM Dithers about the West, causing us undue distress

People are coerced to walk across the floor
Given government ministries perks and more
In the midst of chaos, panic and disarray
I look to the Tories to try and win the day!

I’m a radical poet, sarcastic, uncouth
Uneducated, egotistical, I no longer have youth
I accept criticism when I speak my mind;
As a cynical poet, I receive back in kind
