It’s about space,
and science,
and brave men and women.
Those heroes who rise above the fear…
– and Endeavours
– and Challengers
– and Discoveries
– and Enterprise
– Pathfinders to the new Atlantis.
While far below
are the small men,
comfortable in lives that are so certain…
and yet dull.
I guess it’s about that morning,
and Columbia;
exploring the high frontier,
riding the wind like an arrow…
dancing with angels…
and stepping into heaven.
